Animation is a both recent and old skill of mine. I got my start animating on the DSIs Flipnote application. I learned the basics of character animation and how to correct flow.
I still have access to Flipnote so I can offer an animation using this style if requested. The colors will be limited to a monochrome pallet but it works best for music based projects.

My newest projects are on the app FlipaClipa. I do most of my animation on a tablet. It offers a wider range or colors and audio. These are most of the competed works posted to my youtube. Give it a follow if you're interested in seeing it with sound!
Short looping gifs are done on Procreate. They typically consist of 6 to 7 frames.
